MISSION

 

The Foundation supports activities for sustainable development, animated by nongovernmental organizations and local communities through contests of small grants, trainings and workshops, counseling and information.

 

 Partnership Fund is a grant giving entity established by Partnership Fund Foundation in 2004. Gives financial and substantial support to practical civil partnership initiatives for sustainable development based on environmental and cultural heritage that are realized by inhabitants, NGOs, schools and also individuals who do not have legal identity, by financial, technical, training and information support.

Complex assistance provided by the Fund concerns all stages of grant process – from planning activities, writing application applying for a grant and until its implementation and the moment the funds received are accounted. Execution of the projects is chance to gain experience for entities that cannot raise funds from other sources, have no sufficient experience or financial background.

We try to encourage local communities to underateke and implement grassroot initiatives that promote important ecological solutions. Despite their size, they significantly improve protection of natural and cultural heritage of regions, enhance image of towns and contribute to change the way environmental resources are used. Such initiatives undertaken by whole communities, summarised, methodized and highlighted as good practices, introduce substantial environmental effect and contribute to global environmental protection.

Depending on interests of donors and needs of potential beneficiaries, the Foundation arranges geographic thematic contests.

Continuously improves supportive instruments used, by sustaining their high quality and effectiveness. The Foundation bases on clear, friendly and simple procedures, by promoting grant giving activity managed under the rules of impartiality, openness and partnership.

 Partnership Fund took over grant giving activity from Partnership Fund Foundation. Grants given by Partnership Fund supplement grants transferred from Partnership Fund Foundation and also complete its support.
